On May 22, 2008 the NJ Governor's Council on Mental Health Stigma presented a 2008 Ambassador Award to the Ocean County Mental Health Awareness Committee. This is the first presentation of awards by the Governor's Council. The OC MHA Committee was recognized for our county-wide efforts for reduce the stigma associated with Mental Illness.
